Moving forward with Loake Spring 2015

Stephen's picks from this season's new Loake styles

Loake, to this day remain one of the largest UK manufacturer of finely crafted handmade shoes. They are highly regarded worldwide for the quality of their work, and their design team who never rest with their pursuit of excellence.

SS15 has seen an invigorated Loake with new styles and concepts whilst still remaining true to their core ideals of craftsmanship and value.

Here is a look at some of our personal favourites.

The 623RT It is amazing what a small adjustment can make, the 623 is in essence the classic and original Brighton loafer but placed on a durable heat sealed rubber sole. This makes the instantly recognisable tassel loafer surprisingly comfortable with more spring in your step, provides superb sole longevity and that much needed modern interpretation.

The Drake - this simple derby made on Loake's is brand new and is made on their sleek Claridge last. Superbly crafted with calf lathers and injected with a little fun in the form of the contrasting welt and laces it will certainly elevate your wardrobe. Whilst the Dark Brown sports a red contrast, the Black and Tan contrasts with Blue. This shoe is a delight for any modern man and is bang on current trends.

The Perth - A new addition to Loake's ever popular and well regarded 1880 range the Perth proves that a shoe does not need to be overly fussy to make an impact. Using the finest calf and suede leather available to them the sheer quality of this simple lace up derby is perfectly apparent.

Once you have decided which style you like, with Loake you can be sure that quality and fine craftsmanship comes as standard with every pair.
